Gain more problem-solving knowledge, analyze efficiently, have good practices in slide-writing, and structure your messages with clear call-to-actions. This is how you make a difference at this point in your career. Training is given by (ex) consultants to consultants, project managers, or those that work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, tailored to own specific needs by ‘’real’’ case practices.

This track is further divided into ''Consultancy & Innovation'' and ''Slide Writing & Storylining'' modules.

Consulting Track

Problem Solving

  • Learn to systematically break down problems into smaller parts before solving them when encountering a complex topic to address
  • Practice to scope and prioritize activities based on how important they are for solving the problem when planning your work

Structuring your Message

  • Practice to be concise and apply a clear logic in your message when you are communicating with others
  • Learn to tailor your message to the context and your audience
  • Practice to apply different strategies to move forward when you are  in a conversation

User-centric approach to Problem Solving

  • Learn to incorporate thinking about the experience of the end-user when analyzing business problems
  • Practice to apply a broad set of tools to address customer needs and pain points when thinking about creative solutions

Slide Writing

  • Learn to tailor your slides to your goal
  • Learn to start with having the purpose (‘so what’) of the slide clearly defined
  • Receive different tips and tricks for the design of your slides

Storylining

  • Learn to apply structure to your communication and clear logic and reasoning
  • Practice to scope the question at hand and define your recommendation
  • Practice to tailor a message to the audience and goal

Project & Stakeholder Planning

  • Practice to plan projects in logical steps, milestones and take dependencies into consideration 
  • Assess the optimal role for the stakeholders in projects and involve them accordingly

The Consultancy & Innovation modules will give you a solid foundation in key consulting skills. Become aware and comfortable with facing challenges which you will face in your professional career. We help you to see the big picture, become a more effective problem solver, and work more efficiently by scoping and prioritizing analyses. You will learn these problem-solving skills and approaches by practicing with ‘’real’’ case experiences and transferring your daily work cases to the sessions for tailored practice.

During the Slide Writing & Storylining modules, you will gain in-depth insights on the fundamentals behind creating a convincing story for your audience and develop a clear understanding of the different considerations that optimally convey the key message to a specific audience. It will provide you with a well-grounded approach for challenges in the years to come. Deliver great impact by mastering storylining skills that stimulate compelling stories, resulting in higher acceptance of recommendations. You will also learn to communicate and work more efficiently by structuring your logic and deliverables, as well as collaborate more effectively with your team, (internal) clients and stakeholders.

  • Learn how to use critical feedback to modify behavior and practice engaging in constructive discussions
